These little rose gold studs are Sakura (cherry blossoms) and the flowers have been cast from original fittings on an antique lacquer cabinet.
My partner Ford Hallam does, amongst other things, antique metal restoration. He was asked to repair an imperial commission cabinet from the Meji period in Japan and I thought the fittings were absolutely beautiful.
Now I have turned my version of them into delicate stud earrings in lovely rose gold. They are really beautiful robust and classy, very much earring that you can keep forever and wear all the time.
I have the rose gold blossom colour shown here but they are every bit as lovely in the other metals. Really beautiful botanical studs. They are also available in yellow gold, white gold and sterling silver and if you want to you can have tiny little detail diamonds set into the middle.
I wear mine every day and I love them with the tiny diamond detail for sparkle. They are perfect studs for that special day - understated but elegant wedding day studs, that will compliment and enhance your dress.
What about gold for you and then silver for the bridesmaids?
They come in a beautiful box and are wrapped with gift wrap.
